This is the activity I am working on to help a pity cat which was burned in the animal protection organization in China. We are collecting the signatures from all around world on line now and it will be tremendously appreciated if you could sign in this website to show your supports on the enactment of animal welfare legislation in China.

我們國家的動物保護組織的力量太弱了，這是因爲大部分中國人還認爲人命比其他動物的命都重要，其實衆生都是平等的，人有什麽了不起呢，除了破壞自然，殘害生命！！！

因爲有時差，現在反映不是特別積極，但我想，一個論壇中沒什麽反映不要急，我在網上搜索全世界各地的保護組織，我每個組織都發一封信，100個裏面縂有幾個總回應的。退一步說，即使沒有實質性的聲援，但是至少把這個消息散發出去了。希望大家一起加入到這個行列中來。我們要呼籲世界各國人民對中國目前這種糟糕的動物生存狀態的關注，任重而道遠亞

you can not imagine how happy I was when I saw your reply. There is a very long way for China to catch up with the protection level of western countries. A local animal protetor in China commited suicide this year because she could not stand the painness of seeing all of these tragedies day after day. Really hope you that you could tell more of your friends about the facts in China and show their supports in any way.
你不能想象儅我看到你的回復的時候有多麽高興，對於中國來説趕上西方國家對動物的保護程度有很長的路要走。中國當地的一個動物保護者甚至自殺了，原因是她不能忍受看到每天發生的這些悲劇所帶來的痛苦。真誠希望你可以告訴更多的朋友關於中國的現狀，讓他們不論用何種方式表示支持。

By the way, the Shanghai Daily has current coverage about this issue including the movement to create animal protection legislation in China. I won't link here because it is so graphic, but that's where to start if you're interested in this issue.

I'm glad that you posted this, JenniferKwan and I hope things change in China very soon

我乍一看也是吓一跳...让人理解成猫在动物保护组织里被烧的.
琪宝宝的修改不错,有几点改一下比较合适:
straying cat-->stray cat
local animal protection organization--->a group of local animal protection volunteers
supports--->support

I tried to sign the petition, but when I hit the button to sign nothing happens and I get a script error. Maybe because I am on a Mac? If there is some other way for me to sign please let me know. I pray for that poor kitty and would like to see cruelty laws enacted and enforced in China.

What about the video that is out of a chinese girl in spike high heels killing the kitten by stepping on it ???? she pokes the tips of the heels in the kittens eyes until the eyeball comes out.... the kitten is moaning it is the right up there as far as awful with the videos of skinning the dogs alive what is wrong with these people ? although I guess americans are just as bad the way we make veal and kill pigs and Im sure there is so much more we dont see. Glad I dont eat meat anymore.

I didnt know the sick witch had been caught GOOD.... although what will her punishment be??? nothing but a joke probably. Mud Soup I worked in the medical field for 12 years, it doesnt suprise me a bit.
