Some information about THE CATS PROTECTION OF UK
Formed in 1927, Cats Protection (CP) has grown to become the UK’s largest charity dedicated solely to the welfare of cats. Its nationwide network of 29 Adoption Centres and 260 voluntary-run Branches rehabilitate and rehome around 60,000 cats and kittens every year. Cats Protection believes that there is a home for every cat and never puts a healthy animal to sleep.
The charity also provides an array of cat care information via its publications, website and National Helpline; promotes the benefits of neutering for a happier pet; and distributes education packs to a third of all schools in the UK, thus helping to spread the responsible cat care message.
